This project is an outdoor AR exploration system designed for Gen Z, tailored for camping and nature-based scenarios. By combining infrared thermal imaging with camera-based 3D mapping, it offers an immersive and innovative outdoor interaction experience. The system includes a wearable headset, AR module, central charging hub, charging station, and a companion app. It supports both individual and team modes and features plant and animal identification, environmental education, safety alerts, and personalized content creation.
Unlike one-time entertainment tools, the design fosters sustained engagement with nature and deeper emotional connections. Centered around the concept of “exploration and protection,” it encourages users to learn through exploration, build ecological awareness, and gradually evolve from curious explorers into dedicated guardians of nature.
